Doormat or Reliable Regional Leader? Netanyahu Rejects American Flying
Pigs?

Let us not be children here.

The Americans and anyone else talking about a deal with Hamas instead of
going forward with destroying Hamas' army is talking about an Israeli
defeat.

If Israel accepts an American flying pigs deal Hamas will flourish and our
Sunni allies will conclude that a Jewish doormat cannot be relied upon as a
key member of their coalition.

And anyone today calling for the civilians in Rafah not to take shelter per
the IDF's instructions is calling on them to be slaughtered in the crossfire
as human shields.

Let's look at how our neighbors will look at the situation if we actually
invade and clear out Rafah:

1. We show a backbone even in the face of American threats to halt critical
arms supplies, allow the passage of damaging UN Security Council resolutions
and international lawfare against the Jewish State.

2. We show that the Israelis who appear to share the West's cluelessness
regarding how our region really works are not in charge. That we understand
the neighborhood.

Our neighbors, including the Saudis, look at America today with great
concern. They see the radical students at the leading universities. They
see the radical junior White House staff.

And they anxiously think: how can we hedge our bets if America turns on us
on a whim?

A Jewish doormat cannot help them.

An Israel that does what it has to do regardless of the pressure can..

If Israel opts not to be a doormat don't be surprised to find a few years
from now that there are regional military equipment projects which have
absolutely no parts from the USA or any other country that embraces lawfare.

Yes, some have indicated that this operation is a "limited" one.

But it may be "limited" because it is a "proof of concept".

Once we show that a hundred thousand can be evacuated to safety, we can
continue with the program to clear out the rest of Rafah.

The choice is Netanyahu's.
