station of the Saudi Government, on 9 August 2002 at 0935 GMT carries an
18-minute live sermon from the holy mosque in Mecca.

Shaykh Usamah Abdallah Khayyat delivers the sermon ...

Concluding, the imam prays to God: "O God, strengthen Islam and
Muslims, protect Islam, and destroy its enemies, the tyrants, and the
corrupt. O God, close the Muslim ranks and give wisdom to their leaders."
He goes on: "O God, give victory to the mujahidin for the sake of your
religion and elevate Your word everywhere. O God, help the mujahidin
score victory in Palestine, Kashmir, and Chechnya. O God, destroy the
tyrant Jews for they are within your power."
