Probe into Palestinian civilian deaths: troops acted correctly

An IDF committee investigating three recent incidents in which 13
Palestinian civilians in the territories were killed by Israeli military
fire, said Friday that the soldiers involved in all of the incidents had
followed correct procedure.

The investigation committee, headed by Major General Yitzhak Harel,
presented its findings to Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer and IDF
Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon.

The three separate incidents took place in near the Gaza settlement of
Netzarim, the West Bank town of Tubas and close to the village of Banei
Naim, in the vicinity of the West Bank city of Hebron.
