Telephone poll carried out by "Brain Base" ["Maagar Mochot"] of a
representative sample of over 503 adult Israelis (including Israeli Arabs),
under the direction of Prof.Y.Katz for Israel Radio's "Another Matter"
program on 12 January 2005

In the wake of the Dovrat Report that was published this week, are you for
or against turning the teaching profession into a profession with high
national priority by raising teacher's salaries so that they are higher than
the salaries paid to other academics in government service?

In response to the recommendations of the Dovrat Commission, teachers
organizations recently launched a publicity campaign of an estimated cost of
over a million dollars. Do you support or oppose the campaign?
