IDF SPOKESPERSON UPDATE

52 wanted Islamic Jihad terrorists were arrested last night by IDF
forces throughout the West Bank.

Of the Islamic Jihad terrorists who were arrested last night: 1 was
arrested in Nablus, 4 were arrested in the Jenin area, 4 in the
Qalkiliya area, 6 in the Ramallah area, 12 in Bethlehehm, 25 in Hebron.
The Islamic Jihad terror organization is not committed to the "calm"
declared in the "Sharem Al Sheikh" summit and operates continuously to
carry out terror attacks against Israel. Islamic Jihad persists in its
terror activities, using any means possible or available in order to
carry out its terror attacks.

The IDF will continue to operate against terror factions who pose an
immanent threat to the safety of the citizens of Israel.
