Minister Chaim Ramon: Israeli Response to Rockets Makes Convergence From
West Bank Possible

As the number of rockets landing in Israel today approaches 200, with the
number of casualties limited in part because most of the residents of many
of the areas hit have fled their homes Minister of Justice Chaim Ramon
(Kadima) explained in a live interview on Israel Radio's noon magazine that
the Israeli response to the rockets has sent a clear message to the world
what Israel will do if it is attacked from areas in the West Bank after
Israel withdraws from those area per Olmert's plan.

The program anchor did not ask Mr. Ramon where in Israel he thought the many
millions residing in Central Israel could be evacuated to if a similar
scenario were to take place after an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank
while Israel sends its "clear message".
