Terrorist with explosive belt intercepted in Israel, deadly attack thwarted

A terrorist carrying an explosive belt attempted to infiltrate Israel
yesterday evening. The man was identified immediately after crossing the
security fence into Israel, south of Karni crossing. The terrorist was shot
and killed, thus thwarting an attempt to carry out a deadly attack inside
Israel.

The terrorist's body was transferred into the Gaza Strip overnight.
