[Humiliating checkpoint?] Explosives and grenade uncovered at Nablus

The IDF Spokesperson reports that 500 grams of explosives and a grenade were
stopped at a Nablus checkpoint.

The Palestinian youth trying to pass with the material was arrested at the
Beit Iba checkpoint west of Nablus. The explosive was neutralized by
sappers.

It should be noted that the incident occurred even though Nablus is supposed
to be the showcase city for PA security operations.

Israel faces pressure from Secretary of State Rice to remove the
"humiliating" checkpoints - such as the checkpoint that caught the
explosives and grenade today.
