Polls: 58% Olmert hasn't implemented the lessons of Second Lebanon War

Telephone poll of a representative sample of 508 adult Israelis (including
Arab Israelis) carried out by Maagar Mohot Survey Institute (headed by
Professor Yitzchak Katz for the morning program of Israel Television Channel
10 on 29 January - the day before the release of the Winograd Report.
Statistical error +/- 4.5 percentage points.

In your opinion, since the Second Lebanon War has Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
implemented the lessons?
Total: No 58% More or less 8% Yes 19% Other answers 15%
Kadima voters: No 32% More or less 4% Yes 46% Other 18%
Likud voters No 41% More or less 21% Yes 19% Other 19%
Labor voters: No 59% More or less 8% Yes 25% Other 8%

[It should be noted that unless Winograd himself says explicitly in the
report or in the press conference tonight that "this is a severe report
concerning the performance of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert" that the perceived
"severity" of the report will be mostly a function of how the media (that
counts in its ranks many key people who think Olmert should remain in power
in order to carry out withdrawals (aka "peace") at any and all costs)
portrays the report. ]

Resign?
