IMRA unable to clarify if can distribute NY Post article

Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: IMRA contacted the Censor's Office and the
Ministry of Justice in order to find out if it is permissible to distribute
in Israel an article from the New York Post website relating to the
investigation of PM Olmert.

The Military Censor said this is not in there venue and to check with the
Ministry of Justice.

The Spokesman's Office of the Ministry of Justice was not willing to take a
position as to if it was permitted to distribute the article in Israel
because fo teh gag order.

JERUSALEM DISTRICT COURT DECISION REGARDING INVESTIGATION INVOLVING PM
OLMERT
(Communicated by the GPO)
Tuesday, May 06, 2008

In response to journalists' requests, the Government Press Office provides
the following unofficial translation of this morning's Jerusalem District
Court decision pursuant to the gag order regarding the Israel Police
investigation involving Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Please note that since
this is an unofficial translation, only the original Hebrew decision is
binding.
__________
The Jerusalem District Court - 6.5.08
Before: Judge Mosia Arad (Presiding), Judge Zvi Zilbertal and Judge Moshe
Sobol

"With the agreement of the state and after the respondents' attorneys left
the decision to the discretion of the court, we direct that at this stage,
it may be published that a request has been filed to depose a foreign
national. There is nothing in this to attest that an indictment has been
submitted against the respondents in the request - Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert and Ms. Shula Zaken. This is an investigation that began in recent
days and the request is necessary given the circumstances under discussion.

Today, the Court will discuss the deposition request. A decision on the
matter, including on the question of whether to apply the ban on publication
to the discussion of the [deposition] request, will be made after it has
been heard."
