Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat Appoints Arab Media Advisor

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has appointed Ofir Gendelman as Arab Media
Advisor to the Mayor, a position which has not existed in recent history.
Ofir Gendelman served for eleven years as a career foreign service officer
in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, most recently as the Ministry's Director
of the Arabic Press and Public Affairs Division. Mr. Gendelman will
coordinate media activities on a local and international level, emphasizing
a strengthening of the dialogue between the municipality of Jerusalem and
the many Arabic speaking residents of the city.
