MP Takes Zionist Regime Responsible for Assassination of Iranian Scientist

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior legislator blamed the Zionist regime's hirelings in
Iran for this morning's terrorist attack on the life of an Iranian
university professor and scientist, and said the method used in today's
assassination was similar to the previous attacks carried out against three
other Iranian scientists.

Speaking to FNA on Wednesday, Vice-Chairman of the parliament's National
Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Kosari reiterated that the
assassination of Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan Behdast, a professor at Tehran's
technical university, was similar to the 2010 terrorist bomb attacks against
the then university professor, Fereidoun Abbassi Davani - who is now the
head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization - and his colleague Majid
Shahriari. The latter was killed in the 2010 terrorist attack.

The culprit behind the terrorist attacks, Majid Jamali Fashi, confessed
after he was arrested a few weeks later that he had received $120,000 from
the Zionist regime to carry out the assassination and then returned to Iran.

Kosari condemned those behind the Wednesday terrorist attack, and said, "In
this case the footprints of the Zionists and the world arrogance are seen
too."

Ahmadi Roshan Behdast, 32, had majored in chemistry at the Oil Industry
University and was a deputy director for commerce at Natanz uranium
enrichment facility.

The blast took place on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Iranian
university professor and nuclear scientist, Massoud Ali Mohammadi, who was
also assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack in Tehran in January 11, 2010.
