A short while ago, an anti-tank missile was fired at an IDF patrol along the
security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. Four soldiers were injured as a
result.

In response, the IDF targeted several sites in the Gaza Strip.

IDF Spokesperson Yoav (Poly) Mordechai called the attack on IDF soldiers
"very serious," saying that "we hold Hamas responsible for this incident."

The incident follows the explosion of a tunnel containing explosives on
Thursday (November 8) during activity carried out by IDF forces in southern
Gaza intended to locate terrorists' explosives.

The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians, and will
operate against anyone who uses terror against the State of Israel. The
Hamas terror organization is solely responsible for any terrorist activity
emanating from the Gaza Strip.
