Jordan, Egypt discuss labor cooperation

Amman, Dec. 19 (Petra) -- Minister of Labor Nidal Qatamin discussed here on
Wednesday with Egyptian Manpower and Immigration Minister Khaled al-Azhary
scopes of cooperation in fields of labor and manpower.

Qatamin underlined the importance of the Egyptian official's visit to solve
standing issues related to Egyptian workers in Jordan. A number of memoranda
of understanding will be signed between the two countries to enhance
cooperation and facilitate procedures pertaining to Egyptian laborers, he
added.

The Egyptian official invited his Jordanian counterpart to visit Egypt soon
to address remaining standing issues.
