PMO Dir.-Gen. Locker Agrees with Alut Representatives on the Establishment
of an Inter-Ministerial Committee to Consider How to Assist in Meeting their
Requests

Prime Minister's Office Director-General Harel Locker, this evening (Sunday,
30 December 2012), reached an agreement with representatives of Alut – The
Israeli Society for Autistic Children

on the establishment of an inter-ministerial committee that will consider
how to assist in meeting their requests. The Director-General of the Social
Welfare and Social Services Ministry will chair the committee, which will
also include members from the Prime Minister's Office, the Health Ministry,
the Education Ministry and the Finance Ministry. The committee will – inter
alia – consider the possibility of advancing legislation on the issue of
caring for the autistic population. The committee will submit its
conclusions to PMO Dir.-Gen. Locker within 60 days.
