Over 1.3 Million Crossed Jordan River Bridge in 2012

JERICHO, January 1, 2013 (WAFA) – An estimated 1.3 million people crossed
Allenby bridge with Jordan in both directions during 2012, a police report
said Tuesday.

It said the number of people leaving the West Bank was 30,000 more than
those entering it from the Jordanian side.

The Jordan river crossing is the only route West Bank Palestinians can take
to reach the outside world.
