Another Leading Israeli Pollster to IMRA: We do call cellphones

Yair Lapid has recently been claiming that the polls seriously understate
support for his Yesh Atid party because pollsters only call landlines and
"when was the last time you answered your landline?"

Professor Yitzhak Katz of Maagar - Interdisciplinary Research and Consulting
Institute Ltd., one of the leading Israeli pollsters, advised IMRA today
that, with regard to Maagar polls commissioned by and published/broadcast in
papers, radio and TV that "we carry out some of the surveys only polling
landlines and some of them are also with cellphones and we check if there is
a difference and in any case we insure the representative nature of the
samples in terms of age, sector, origins, area of residence, etc. such that
it doesn't matter so much."
