In the complaint to the chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Hasson
claims that Gimpel "called to blow up the Dome of the Rock on the Temple
Mount and build the Temple in its place".

In the recording in question Gimpel actually said in English "Imagine today
if the golden dome, I'm being recorded so I can't say blown up, but let's
say it was blown up, right, and we laid the cornerstone of the temple in
Jerusalem..."

Anyone with an elementary understanding of the English language understands
that Gimpel did not call to blow up the Dome of the Rock. Yoel Hasson claims
on the official Knesset website that he understands English.

Judge Rubenstein rejected the complaint because it did not include a link to
the clip and Rubenstein, as a Sabbath observer, hadn't seen it broadcast.
If the complaint is filed again, it will be interesting to see if
Rubenstein, who is indeed fluent in English, will opt to castigate Hasson
for misrepresenting/mistranslating Gimpel in the complaint.
