The Israel Radio Reshet Bet 6 PM news bulletin featured detailed statistics
regarding the percentage of various rockets that Hamas and the other forces
in the Gaza Strip still have with the explanation that these figures are
based on the count of how many rockets were launched and how many rockets
the Israelis know they destroyed.

Similar statistics were provided regarding the tunnels.

The figures were presented with such a tone of authority that someone might
think that before the start of Operation Protective Edge Hamas invited in a
group of Israelis to take inventory counts.

Of course they didn't

And take note: the same sources now so confidently providing statistics are
the very same people who failed, as was indicated by the remarks of
Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror on 16 July 2014. to discover that Hamas had
rockets that could reach beyond Tel Aviv.
