Israeli authorities allow goods into Gaza via Kerem Shalom

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Israeli authorities opened the Kerem Shalom
crossing on Wednesday to allow 500 trucks of goods into the Gaza Strip for
the trade, agricultural, transportation and aid sectors.
Raed Fattouh, a Palestinian official responsible for the entry of goods into
Gaza, said that Israel also decided to allow 72 trucks of cement and
aggregate for international construction projects in addition to 100
truckloads of aggregate for infrastructure and roads, and seven trucks of
asphalt for Qatari construction projects.
Fattouh added that diesel for the power company and transportation, fuel and
domestic-use gas were also allowed into the Gaza Strip via Kerem Shalom.
