ISNA Condemns Attack on Jerusalem Synagogue
There is no justification to attack any place of worship

(Plainfield, IN 11/21/14) Today, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)
condemned the attack on a synagogue in West Jerusalem that resulted in five
deaths, three were American Jewish rabbis, and injured several people.

In a statement, ISNA President Azhar Azeez said:

"Nothing justifies this act of senseless killing in a place of worship. We
call on both sides to end the provocative rhetoric and policies that only
escalate and continue this vicious cycle of violence. Punitive actions that
inflict collective punishment on a population will also not bring peace and
will unfortunately lead to more reprisals. Our condolences go out to the
family, friends and loved ones of the victims who were killed and pray for
the quick recovery for those who were injured."
