Palestinian Leadership Supports Arab Decision to Ensure Yemen Unity

RAMALLAH, March 26, 2015 (WAFA - PLO news agency) – The Palestinian
leadership Thursday expressed its support to the decision of Saudi Arabia,
the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries which are taking part in
military operations to maintain the unity of Yemen and support its
leadership.

The presidency affirmed the importance of responding to the dialogue called
for by the Cooperation Council in Riyadh and adhering to it in order to
achieve the interests of Yemenis, restore its security, stability and unity.

Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudaina told WAFA that the recent
developments in the area as well as the challenges facing Palestine and the
Arab nation has pushed the Middle East into a whole new stage and placed all
actors at a crossroad.

He said on the eve of the Arab League’s summit that it is a critical new
stage as the current situation, which is being manipulated by regional and
international powers couldn’t persist in this form.

He affirmed that the current situation represents a new stage for a national
Arab alliance that restores life to the people of the region.
