Hamas: PLO Executive Committee not authorized to form a government

GAZA CITY (Alresalah.ps) -- Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed
the PLO Executive Committee is not authorized to form a government, calling
for the Provisional Leadership Framework to consider all the reconciliation
files.

Hamas called on the Palestinian factions, whose leaders signed the Cairo
agreement, to a comprehensive dialogue to implement the various aspects of
reconciliation agreements, mainly the formation of a national unity
government.

Hamas stressed that any government to be formed must be without a political
program. The Islamic Resistance Movement said any must be approved by the
Palestinian Legislative Council.

The PLO Executive Committee decided to form a committee of its members to
communicate with all factions to form a national unity government within a
week.
