GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Hamas' military wing on Wednesday claimed to have
captured a dolphin fitted with surveillance equipment off the coast of Gaza
City, the group said.
The al-Qassam Brigades said one of its naval commando units had captured the
dolphin several weeks ago and had found cameras and other surveillance
equipment attached to the animal.
The dolphin was reportedly sent out by Israel to spy on Hamas' elite naval
unit, the militant wing said.
Al-Quds newspaper reported that the dolphin was fitted with a device capable
of firing arrows.
