Hizb Bolsters Syrian Presence
LONDON [MENL] -- The Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah, in contrast to claims only
weeks earlier, has bolstered its presence in Syria.
Arab diplomatic sources said Hizbullah has sent hundreds of special
operations troops from Lebanon to prepare for a massive campaign against
Sunni rebels in Syria. They said Iran and Syria were equipping Hizbullah
with missiles, rockets and main battle tanks for a Russian-backed ground
offensive in central and northern Syria.
