TEHRAN, Nov. 29 (MNA) – Iran’s Mohammad Javad Zarif has told a press
conference PMD has been inaccurately applied to Iran’s nuclear program.

Zarif who was speaking a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart
Nikos Kotzias on Sunday, debunked the claims made in the past about Iran’s
nuclear program as baseless; “in a roadmap, we and IAEA agreed that a
once-and-for-all response will be provided to concerns; we now wait Amano’s
report; however, the more important part of the issue is the verdict of
Board of Governors,” Mr. Zarif told the press conference. “The PMD is
encapsulated, though we believe undeservedly, as ‘concerns past and present’
in the text of the JCPOA; we hope Amano’s report within upcoming days will
help close the case for ever. If the report is realistic enough, Iran will
move in the direction predicted for it before,” Zarif emphasized.

“As the Leader has demanded, PMD (Possible Military Dimensions) of Iran’s
nuclear program does proceeds the JCPOA implementation which is reaffirmed
by the very text of JCPOA as a commitment of world powers; acting according
to commitments will bestow a status to JCPOA enough strong so as to provide
a basis for further improved relations in the future and addressing more
pressing and immediate issues such as international terrorism and
extremism,” he told the press.

Zarif admitted that the US and EU had embarked on a series of actions in
line with their commitments; “this however, would not mean that these
measures are sufficient enough; they should be of a continuous nature up to
the practical implementation day; a directive by President Obama to US
Treasury, Secretary of State, Energy, and Secretary of Commerce has
guaranteed that the US will remain committed to obligations under JCPOA; we
regularly work with Mr. Kerry and other officials to ensure that they would
fully carry out the commitments as well,” he concluded.
