It is as simple as this:
If a sovereign Palestinian state were to renege on weapons and force limits
it would remain a sovereign state.
And there are many reasonably likely scenarios in which such a sovereign
Palestinian state would be able to garner enough support such that even a
gross ongoing violation of weapons and force limits would be sustainable.
But its not just weapons.
That same sovereign Palestinian state could bring in millions of people who
claim the right to move to Israel.
