Observation: Alqasem as Hebrew U grad student magnitudes more effective
enemy of Israel
Dr. Aaron Lerner 14 October, 2018
Friends of Israel commenting on the Government of Israel's decision to bar
entry to anti-Israel activist Lara Alqasem should take into account that the
status of Hebrew University graduate student would make her magnitudes more
effective in propaganda against the Jewish State than she is as simply a
Florida college student.
It’s a byline one can expect to see in op-ed columns that gain her entry to
the New York Times and many other venues.
And that's just the beginning.
I would not be surprised to find that she ends up on the itinerary of many
visiting groups.
Of course any Israeli Arab who wants to do the same has the freedom of
speech to do so.
But the State of Israel has no obligation to open its gates for outsiders to
engage in anti-Israel activity.
