A "Peace Now" delegation visited President Arafat

Ramallah January 23rd 2002 Wafa (Official Palestine News Agency), An Israeli
delegation representing the Israeli peace movement "Peace Now" headed by the
Ex Knesset Member the Journalist Uri Avneri accompanied by MK Dr. Ahmad
Tibi, visited yesterday H.E President Yasser Arafat in the Presidential
Headquarters in Ramallah.

After the meeting Mr. Avneri said that they are offering their solidarity
with President Arafat and the Palestinian journalists especially after the
Israeli demolishing of the TV and Radio facilities.

He demanded protection from such violations, vandalism and atrocities also
demanded the Israeli community to put an end to Sharon's escalating and
devastating policy.
