7 Gaza Tunnels Discovered "Tip of the Iceberg"

Daniel reported on this evening's broadcast that the 7 Gaza Tunnels
discovered in the latest IDF operation represented only a small fraction of
the tunnels now operating.

Daniel noted that the IDF to date has limited its tunnel seeking operations
to within around 1,000 meters (around 1,100 yards) of the Israeli border,
leaving the smuggling operations taking place across the overwhelming
majority of the Egypt/Gaza border - including the urban area of Rafah -
unaffected.

Daniel warned that the IDF soldiers who will ultimately be sent deep into
the Gaza Strip to clean up the mess will face the weapons that are now
flooding into Gaza from Egypt.

Daniel also spoke sharply against Egypt, saying that the massive smuggling
is, at best, being essentially ignored by Egypt (that's "at best" because
the alternative is that Egypt is encouraging it) and that Egypt could
readily put a stop to the smuggling if it wanted to.
