The following are the results of a New Wave survey of a representative
sample of 607 adult Israelis (including Israeli Arabs) carried out the week
of
9 January for Maariv and published in Maariv on 9 January.
Survey error +/- 4 percentage points.

Are you satisfied with the performance of prime minister Ariel Sharon in
general?

Of the following personalities, who would you prefer replace Ariel Sharon as
chairman of the Likud and the party candidate for prime minister? [IMRA:
there is only one ballot - for the Knesset, there is no vote for prime

Vote Likud: Netanyahu 41% Mofaz 18% Olmert 9% Livnat 8% Shalom 6%
