Weekly Commentary: Hamas can report locations of bodies - no need for delays

Hamas says they need time to dig out some of the bodies of Israeli hostages.

Lame excuse.

They can tell us where to dig and leave the area and we will take care of
it.

As for disarming, there's an extremely simple principle to immediately
institute: the Gaza Strip is a "long gun free zone" for all but IDF forces.

If you are spotted by any means (for example armed drones)with a long gun
(rifle, shotgun, carbine, etc.) you are killed.

That's not to say that Hamas members can retain handguns - disarmed is
disarmed.

But removing long arms rifles from the area dramatically reduces that need
for any kind of firepower for protection.
