Doha Qatar television Service in Arabic, official television station of the
Qatari Government, at 0842 GMT 7 June 2002 carries a 26-minute live
sermon[0] from Umar Bin-al-Khattab mosque in Doha.

An unidentified imam delivers the sermon. He begins by praising God, the
messenger, and his companions, calling on Muslims to worship and obey God as
a way to paradise and warning the disobedient of God's punishment in the
Hereafter.

In the second part of the sermon, the imam continues to advise Muslims to
abide by the Koran and the prophet's teachings as a way to paradise, citing
relevant Koranic verses.

Concluding, the imam prays to God: "O God, strengthen Islam and Muslims,
protect the religion, humiliate infidelity and the infidels, destroy the
enemies of the region, and support your faithful servants. O God, destroy
the Jews, the Christians, and their supporters. O God, destroy them because
they are within your power. O God, do not raise their banner. O God, make
their wives widows, make their children orphans, and make them a prey for
Muslims. O God, destroy them and divide them. O God, instill fear in their
hearts. O God, support the mujahidin everywhere."
