Senior Palestinian Official confirms that Arafat is responsible for all
Intifada operations

Mazan Az Aladin ,a senior official of the
strategic political apparatus of the Palestinian
Authority ,appeared on Palestine Television on 28
May 2002 ,during a conference in Gaza .Az Aladin
was quoted as saying that the Intifada ,including
all the orders given regarding its implementation,
belong to Yassir Arafat ,who stood strong on the
Jerusalem and" Alaqsa "issue .Az Aladin said that
some people were fooled by the occupation and the
American position ,and that as result ,these people
equated the legitimate and legal resistance of the
Palestinian nation to violence ,and even described
it as a kind of terror.

Az Aladin went on to state" ,We say to them :if
justice exists in this world ,it belongs to the
Palestinian resistance .From here ,from this very
place ,I send my blessing to the front battle line,
our brother and chairman Abu-Amar) an alias for
Yassir Arafat ,(and to all heroes of the
Palestinian nation".

Note:
In the background of the broadcast featuring Mazan
Az Aladin there were Palestinians wearing Fatah
(Kafiyahs) "The Islamic traditional headdress",
including one Palestinian holding the flag of the
Alaqsa Martyrs Brigades ,the military wing of the
Fatah.
