PA Minister Faluggi: Jews Deceitful, Bush Stupid

Introduction:
Despite the renewal of the Israel-US-Palestinian talks, the leaders of the
Palestinian Authority [PA] continue to preach hatred of Israel, Jews and
America, incorporating classic anti-Semitism and strong expression of
support for Iraq.

The message of enmity reiterated yesterday on PATV by a PA government
Minister stated that the history of the Jewish People in Israel is false and
that the Jewish character is flawed: "From the time Allah created them they
have lived by scheme and deceit."

The assault on America included corroboration by the PA Minister of a
caller-in's assertion of President "Bush's stupidity", the American hunting
down of the Indians and the "American tradition of genocide".

The discussant was the PA Minister of Posts and Communication, and member of
the PA legislative council, Immad Faluggi. He appeared on PATV yesterday,
August 8, 2002.

The Interview:
On Jews: "fabricate history and defective character"
"They came from the four corners of the Earth granted with every
opportunity, and claimed the lie that they were returning to their land, the
land of their ancestors, their Promised Land and other such falsehoods.
"We say that despite this failure of a negotiation, which, I say, will
result in nothing, so long as Israel feels security and tranquility - the
negotiation will not produce results. That is because Israel does not
recognize the basis of the negotiations. That is because Jewish nature is
in control of that state and does not sanction peace or stability. They are
convinced that if peace were to come and succeed in this region, it would be
their death. The Jewish nation, it is known, from the dawn of history, from
the time Allah created them, lives by scheme and deceit, by creating the
image of an enemy, by creating the lie of security, so that they will have a
unifying factor.
There is nothing the unifies them, therefore they seek any bond, even if it
is imagined, like a scheme or trickery, 'the enemy will get us' and their
ghetto will be taken from them if there will be stability.

On "the Iraqi Brother"
"This nation [Iraq], which stood beside the Palestinian issue and gave us
assistance [even] in the trying conditions they endure. The Iraqi nation is
a brother. Hats off to the Iraqi People! Hats off to Iraq. Hats off to
all the free people of the world! Iraq is the heart and mind of every
Palestinian. Iraq is a twin to Palestine. She is second in suffering. We
and Iraq are behind the same barricade in confrontation; confrontation with
imperialism and Zionism, confrontation with the oppressor. Thus we and Iraq
are equal in our struggle against the oppressor of the new world order,
whose price we are paying, as is Iraq."

On the US and on Zionism
Ahmad Al Sanussi calls in from Morocco, he says he is a member of the
Committees to Protect the Palestinian People:
"All of the United States voted for Bush, despite his stupidity.. [The US
and Israel] have a shared heritage, connected to hunting down the Indians.
The US has a tradition of genocide in Vietnam, and so it identifies with the
perpetrators of the leading acts of terror in the world, [Ariel] Sharon and
Peres."

TV show host: "Yes! Yes!"

Al Sanussi: "The terrorism is American-Zionist indeed."

PA Minister Faluggi:
"I want to thank the brother, Ahmad Al Sanussi, for participating. This is
the true voice of the Arabs, of which we are proud, and we say that as long
as that voice exists in the Arab world, it will halt the plans filled with
scheming, and this voice will force the United States to think twice before
taking any action against our Arab Islamic Nation."
