DAMASCUS, Sept. 04 (SANA-Official Syrian News Agency)

Minister of Industry, Dr. Issam Al-Zaim discussed here Wednesday, with the
Iranian delegation of Nasb Zadeh Industrial Company headed by Mozaffar
Mohammadi, the cooperation possibility to set up petrochemical industries
projects and industrial construction.

Dr. Zaim underlined that his ministry is currently studying the idea of
setting up petrochemical industries, which are included in the initial plans
of the ministry. He said that the ministry might get benefit from different
technologies as required.

The Iranian side offered the possibility of partnership in setting up,
executing and constructing factories and industrial projects and providing
petrochemical industries equipment.

The Iranians expressed readiness to participate and cooperate with the
Syrian side in executing her projects.
