Security sources recently gave the political level a list of
12 Hamas terrorists who have been drafted to serve in Jibril
Rajoub's Preventive Security Service and 7 other Hamas activists
who have been recruited to the Palestinian Civilian Police.

According to the list, among those recruited to Rajoub's
Preventive Security Service are Abdel Fatah Ahmed Halil al-Sitri,
a resident of Khan Yunis and one of the heads of Izz a-Din
al-Kassam who in the past served as [Hamas bombmaker] Muhammad
Dief's right-hand man.

Also drafted were the following:

Jamal Muhammad Abdel Hamid Musa, a Khan Yunis resident who
underwent training in Iran;
Salam Mahmud Ahmad Abu Marouf, a Khan Yunis resident who was also
trained in Iran;
Kamel Muhammad Hussein Khalifa, a Khan Yunis resident who was
involved in the killing and wounding of Israelis;
Atef Abd a-Wahab Yusuf Hamdan, a Khan Yunis resident who was
trained in Iran and was involved in the kidnapping and murder of
Israeli soldiers;
Musa Muhammad Isa Kilab, who killed two Israeli soldiers at Erez
Junction in May 1994;
Yusuf Faluji, a Khan Yunis resident who was involved in the murder
of two Israelis;
Iad Musa Ibrahim Fiad, a Khan Yunis resident involved in the
murder of two Israelis in Khan Yunis in October 1993;
Bassam Subhi Shaaban Issa, a Gaza resident who served as [Hamas
bombmaker] Yihya Ayyash's assistant. He is a suspect in the murder
of three Israeli soldiers in Gaza and in the lethal attack at
Nahalat Shiva in Jerusalem in October 1994. He was also involved in
the suicide bombing at Binyanei Hauma in Jerusalem in December
1994.
Imad Akel, a Gaza resident who served as an assistant to [Hamas
bombmaker] Yihya Ayyash.
Ghazi Ismail Ahmad Abu Toameh, a Dir al-Ballah resident, suspected
of the murder of an Israeli truck driver in Gaza in February 1995;
Imad Muhammad Isa Abbus, a Gaza resident involved in the murder of
Israelis;

According to the report by the security sources, those drafted
into the Palestinian civilian police are the following:

Muhammad Ibrahim Salah Abu Shamallah, who was involved in numerous
shooting attacks against Israelis, including the killing of an IDF
officer in June 1994;
Raed Sabhi Ahmad al-Attar, who was involved in the killing of an
IDF officer in July 1994;
Osama Suleiman Shukri Abu Taha, a Rafiah resident involved in
shooting incidents, including the killing of an IDF officer in July
1994, and in planning a suicide bombing;
Yusuf Mahmud Abdel Aziz Malahi, a Rafiah resident suspected of the
murder of two Israelis in Ramle in August 1994;
Ahad Abdel Khader Ismail Bashiti, a Rafiah resident suspected of
involvement in the murder of two Israelis in Ramle in August 1994;
Yasser Yusuf Mustafa Hussein, a Gaza resident suspected in the
murder of an Israeli truck driver in February 1995;
Yasser Abdel Hamid Abdallah Akel, a Rafiah resident who fled to
Jordan in February 1993 and returned to Gaza in July 1994.
