50 Fatah Gunmen Hired Into PA Security After Seizing Government Building

...In a separate incident, some 30 Fatah gunmen raided the offices of the
Khan Yunis local government on Monday night to demand that they be recruited
to the PA security forces. The gunmen evacuated the building only after the
PA agreed to absorb 50 of them in various security organizations.

This is the third time in less than two months that gunmen belonging to
Fatah seized control of the Khan Yunis local government. In the previous
incidents, the gunmen prevented the governor and his staff from entering the
building for a number of days.
