The following are the results of a New Wave survey of a representative
sample of 602 adult Israelis (including Israeli Arabs) carried out the week
of 20 February for Maariv and published in Maariv on 20 February.
Survey error +/- 4 percentage points.

The following are the results of a poll of 503 Israeli adult Jews by the
Berndman Institute:

Do you keep a kosher home?
Completely kosher 43% Partially 28% Not at all 29%
Of "secular Jews": 41% keep completely or partially kosher

When you eat out:
38% Only kosher certified restaurants
25% Eat only kosher but also in restaurants without certificates
34% Eat nonkosher
3% Don't eat out
Of secular: 30% eat only kosher out
