Ziad Abu Zayyad on Fatah Murder of Israeli Arab: Mistakes Happen

Speaking in an interview broadcast this morning on Israel Radio, PLC
Jerusalem District representative Ziad Abu Zayyad said that he did not
expect the murder of George Khoury by Yasser Arafat's Fatah al-Aqsa Martyrs
Brigades on Friday to change their tactics. Khoury, the son of prominent
Israeli-Arab lawyer Elias Khoury, who provides legal services to the
Palestinian Authority, was murdered because he was mistaken for a Jew.

"Mistakes happen", Ziad Abu Zayyad, explained, noting that there have been
incidents in which Israeli were killed at Israeli checkpoints by mistake
(cars that did not stop for inspection).
