PA PM: Aksa Martyrs Brigades to be integrated into Fatah "institutions"

Israel Radio reported this morning that PA Prime Minister, Ahmad Qurei,
explained in an interview published in the London based Asharq Al-Awsat that
there are no plans to break up the Aksa Martyrs Brigades but that instead
they would be integrated into Fatah "institutions".

This position appears to coincide with the Egyptian plan that the various
armed terrorist groups operating in the Gaza Strip retain their weapons (in
fact they can bring in more weapons) while Israel promises not to take
action against them.
