Student Hamas terror cell from "Al Najah" university arrested in June.

In an operation of the IDF and GSS the cell, composed of students from
"Al Najah" university in Nablus was arrested in June 2004.

The following is a list of terrorist attacks, planned by the cell:

* Kidnapping of an IDF soldier for the purpose of barging. The
attempted kidnapping to take place near the village of Jayus, north of
Qalqilia. The kidnapped soldier was supposed to be hidden in caves in
the area.

* Shooting attacks at Israeli communities near Qalqilia.

* Infiltration to the community of Shoham by a Palestinian
terrorist who was to pretend to be a mute and dumb beggar. He was to give
passers- by notes saying he is poor and in need, so that they would let him
in to the community.

* Planning of a suicide bombing attack in the industrial area of
Netanya. The targets for the attack were planned to be an antique store
or a hall for hosting events. These sites were chosen by Asama Mahana,
one of the cell members who worked in the industrial area in the past.

The members of the terrorist cell worked to purchase weaponry, recruit
suicide bombers for the Hamas terrorist organization, training them in
making explosive devices and forging Israeli identification documents.

The investigation shows that the terrorist cell received a great deal of
financing and assistance from the Hamas infrastructure in Nablus. Allah
Jausi, the head of the cell was the one who was in touch with the Heads
of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The followings are the arrested members of the terrorist cell:

* Allah Zahir Nimer Jausi- A Hamas terrorist, the head of the
terrorist cell, arrested on June 10th, 2004. Jayusi, 23, originally from
Tulkarm. Jayusi was the head of "Kutla Islamiya" at the Al-Najah
University. For a long time Jayusi planned to carry out terrorist
attacks.

Jayusi planned to dispatch an explosive car into Israel in March 2004,
in an attack was thwarted by the GSS.

* Khaled Ahmed A Rahim Salim- A Hamas terrorist who operated
under Allah Jausi, arrested on June 9th 2004. Salim, 21, is a resident
of the village of Jayus and an activist student of "Kutla Islamiya" at
the Al Najah University.

* Hir Adin Ahmed Amara Wahadan- A Hamas terrorist who operated
Allah Jausi, arrested on June 15th 2004. Wahadan, 26, resident of the
village of Rantis and an activist student of "Kutla Islamiya" in the Al
Najah University. Wahadan was imprisoned in Israel between the years of
2000-2003.

* Asamah Zabahi A-Rahman Abu Haga Mahana- A Hamas terrorist who
operated under Allah Jausi, Arrested at July 7th 2004. Mahana, 23,
originally from Atil. Mahana owns an Israeli I.D. Mahana is an activist
student of "Kutla Isalamiya" in the Al- Najah University.
