President Basher al-Assad issued the decree No. 285 for the year 2004 on the
ratification of the Memo of Understanding in the field of oil and gas signed
between Syria and Iran.

President al-Assad also issued the legislative decree No. 49 for the year
2004 on the ratification of the trade agreement signed between Syria and
Malaysia.
