A Thailand national was killed during a terrorist infiltration into the
greenhouses of Kefar Darom, in the southern Gaza strip.

A Thailand national was killed today, October 5, 2004, by terrorists who
infiltrated the greenhouses of the community of Kefar Darom.

This morning an anti tank rocket and a mortar shell were fired at the
community of Kefar Darom and the military post in the area, at the same
time, IDF forces identified three armed Palestinians, two of them carrying
explosive devices, near the greenhouses of the community of Kefar Darom. One
of the terrorists exploded near the greenhouses and the other two terrorist
infiltrated the greenhouses of the community.

A Thailand national, who worked in the greenhouses, was taken hostage and
killed by the terrorists during the infiltration.

IDF and Border police forces arrived at the seen and opened fire at the
terrorists. During the exchanges of fire the two terrorists were killed.

This terrorist attack samples numerous attempts to carry out combined
terrorist attacks against Israeli communities.
