RAMALLAH, March 12, 2005 (WAFA-PLO news agency)- Israeli Occupation Forces
(IOF )attacked on Friday a peaceful rally in a protest against bulldozering
their land in favor of the construction of the Apartheid Wall on Bil'een
village, east of of Ramallah in the West Bank, locals said.

Medics told WAFA that a big number of participants including (Palestinians,
Israelis, foreign activists) were wounded due to IOF's assault. One citizen
was arrested and taken into an unknown place.

Israeli authorities began last week seizing 2300 Donums of the village's
lands in order to annex them to the Apartheid Wall and the neighbouring
colonies.

Israeli and Palestinain protesters threw rocks and clashed with police and
Israel Defense Forces near Modi'in Friday, in a demonstration against the
construction of the separation fence in the area.

A soldier was lightly wounded by rocks thrown during the demonstration.
Police used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the demonstration, in the
Palestinian village of Budrus east of Modi'in.
