Gaza City, Gaza Strip, March 14, SPA [Saudi Press Agency]-- Israeli
forces shot and wounded two unarmed Palestinian teens Monday after they
entered a no-go zone near the border fence between Gaza and Israel.

Mahmoud Ibrahim, 17, and Fahad Agha, 16, were shot near
the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, Palestinian
hospital officials said. Ibrahim was treated at a local
hospital for a shot to the shoulder, chest and leg, and
Agha was arrested by Israeli soldiers, the officials said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said forces opened fire on
three Palestinians in a closed area near the Israel-Gaza
fence, hitting one. He was taken to an Israeli hospital for
treatment, the spokeswoman said, while the other two
escaped. The spokeswoman said the Palestinians were not
armed.

Also Monday, a Palestinian hit by Israeli gunfire 18
months ago died of his wounds in a Nablus hospital, health
officials said.

The officials identified the man as Adham Ashalan, 20, who
was shot while throwing stones at Israeli troops near
Nablus. Relatives said he was the third member of his
family to die in Israeli-Palestinian clashes.

Fourteen Palestinians and five Israelis were killed in
violence between the sides in February, but since then it
has subsided to a trickle, following an unofficial truce.
