Bashar Assad's Syria : A focus of continued incitement to venomous
anti-Semitism.

Overview

The Syrian régime , under both Hafez Assad and his son Bashar, is infected
with anti - Semitism . That has been made evident in recent years by the
pronouncements of president Bashar , the anti-Semitic overtones in the
Syrian media (including the production of anti-Semitic movies for TV such as
"The Diaspora" 2) and the publishing of many anti-Semitic books , including
a new edition of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion .

Another edition of The Protocols , which Rasslan Publishers are trying to
market as "research," was published in Damascus in 2004. Various editions of
the book are marketed throughout the Arab-Muslim world (and also reach the
hands of Israeli Arabs) and contribute to anti-Semitism among their readers.
It is worthwhile mentioning that the authoritative Syrian régime supervises
all books written and distributed in and exported from Syria .

The book has an introduction (which completely distorts historical fact)
which describes the circumstances of the composition of The Protocols as a
tool for the Elders of Zion to take over the world and reveals how they were
exposed. It then goes on to list a number of absurd "accusations" against
the Jews, the proof of which are The Protocols themselves: the attempt to
take over world mass communications media, to harm Gentiles, to harm the
wealthy; acts of treachery, harming the Jews' own agents, encouraging
alcoholism, favoring power over justice, corrupting the Gentile world,
instigating the First and Second World Wars and other fabrications (See
below, Description of The Protocols ).

[2] " The Diaspora " is a TV serial produced in Syria and distributed by
Hezbollah in Lebanon and to the whole world via Al-Manar, the Hezbollah TV
satellite channel. Another anti-Semitic TV program is the movie " The Garden
of Death ," which was broadcast in Syria , Lebanon (via Al-Manar) and
Palestinian Authority.

read and understand these Protocols .

Description of the main points of The Protocols 3 -- a translation of pages
13-16 of the Introduction

The Freemasons 4 are a tool in the hands of the Zionist movement . In the
fourth Protocol the author states: "The truth of the matter is that our
power is hidden. The visible Freemasons serve us as a cloak and [in effect]
only act to hide [our power] and our goals."

Activating public opinion and the newspapers after they have been taken
over [by the Jews]: They will be used as weapons [for propaganda and
psychological warfare] against any enemy liable to attack the Jews. That is
based on the seventh Protocol: "The governments of the non-Jews are
implementing the stages of our overall plot, which is almost finished.
Therefore, we ourselves force them to do so by using what is known as
'public opinion,' which we design in secret with the help of the 'Great
Empire' - the written media, which are almost completely under our control
."

Harming the wealthy Gentiles, or "goys," and enslaving them to the Jews .
That appears in all the Protocols: "The wealth of the world will be poured
into our hands and we hoard it. Thus all Gentiles will have been transformed
into poor workers and paupers."

Betraying its agents . The fourth Protocol refers to the secret Zionist
takeover and the placing of Zionist agents in the forefront of events. That
is, [the Zionists] hide behind their constantly changing agents, and that
change does no harm. Quite the opposite, it supports the secret force
economically and saves it a lot of money. [It would have had a lot of
expenses] if it had to pay a [generous] salary for long-term and wide-spread
services. [Therefore, the Jews' method] is to keep changing [one agent] for
another.

Encouraging the Gentiles to become alcoholics . The issue is mentioned in
most of the Protocols, for instance, the sixth: "We will spread paths to
alcoholism."

The Jews do not believe in justice, only power . In their eyes power
enables them to commit crimes. They use their power to control lawmaking.
The ninth Protocol [states]: "I can report to you with an entirely clean
conscience that we determine lawmaking and are its source. The time will
come when we will be able to enforce legislation and its source - we will
slaughter whom we choose and pardon whom we choose."

The Jews endeavor to corrupt all generations all over the world . [They]
encourage all kinds of fantastic theories and urge people along all kinds of
useless paths. The ninth Protocol [states]: "As for non-Jewish youth, we
have deceived and fooled them, we have turned their heads and corrupted
their paths and thus fostered principles and theories we know are improper
and worthless."

Contempt for all non-Jewish peoples , who are described as shallow. The
tenth Protocol [states]: "Governments and peoples are satisfied by policies
that deal with the obvious and do not delve deeply into matters."

Treating the Gentiles as if their only aspiration in life is to satisfy
their urges and the lusts of their bodies . The tenth Protocol [states]:
"And how can the Gentiles get to the heart of the matter when all they can
think of is amusing themselves and debauchery."

It can be seen that the author of The Protocols is not only a racist, but
he clearly shows his desire to put himself at the front of Zionism [in
particular] and the world in general. The tenth Protocol [states]:
"Regarding the project of establishing the government, one of us must devote
all his attention to it."

The Jews use words like liberty, justice, equality and liberality but they
do not believe in them at all . The tenth Protocol [states]: "The Freemasons
use words like liberality, liberty, equality and fraternity. When rule is
ours we will change them to the right of freedom, the duty of equality, the
perfection of fraternity."

Samson's choice : Samson was a mythological Jewish hero who destroyed the
building in which his trial took place and killed himself along with his
enemies. That is, when everyone [all the non-Jews] stand against the Jews,
an all-inclusive world war must be started. The seventh Protocol [states]:
"And when everyone joins forces against us the only thing to do is start a
comprehensive world war ." The important point here is that it makes us take
notice of the role of the Jews in starting the First and Second World Wars .

Introduction shows that the author chose features
of the Protocols which for him were specific and prominent.
[4] Both classic European anti-Semitism and modern Arab anti-Semitism often
offer the false claim that the Freemasons serve the Jews in realizing their
"plots" to take over the world.
