Dahlan: Rafah Crossing Will be Officially Opened on November 25

GAZA, November 15, 2005 (WAFA-PLO News Agency)- Minister of Civil Affairs,
Mohamed Dahlan, said that Rafah International Crossing will be officially
opened on 25 of the current month.

. In a statement issued Tuesday, Dahalan revealed that the agreement was
reached between the Palestinian and the Israeli sides under effective
American participation, presented by the US secretary of State, Condoleezza
Rice.

Dahlan also referred that the Rafah crossing on the Gaza-Egypt border will
be open for Palestinian citizens movement, while motorists and commercial
traffic will use the Kerem Shalom crossing point, adding that Israel will
have no right to prevent any Palestinian from traveling through the Rafah
crossing.

He pointed out that the deal also includes the construction of a sea port in
Gaza and that Palestinians will be able to travel between the West Bank (WB)
and Gaza Strip (GS) in convoys.
