GAZA, Palestine, February 5, 2006 (IPC + Agencies) -[Offical PA website] -
Israeli jetfighters fired today pre-dawn three rockets at a vehicle and
targeted a facility of the resistance group Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in the
neighborhood of Tul al-Islam southern Gaza City, killing three activists and
wounding eight others.

The first air-strike carried out several hours pre-dawn by the Israeli
aircrafts targeted a facility in Tul al-Islam neighborhood south of Gaza
City. The facility belongs to the resistance groups Al Aqsa Martyrs
Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement.

Medical sources reported that three residents were killed and eight others
injured in another air strike targeted a building and vehicle belongs to the
military wing of Fateh.

Head of the Public Relations Department at Al Shifa Hospital, Jomah Al Saqqa
identified the three victims of the air raid as Hani al-Qaied, Adel
Barghouth, and Nasser Marshoud, and also wounded 8 others.

Eyewitnesses and officials said that the three militants killed in the first
strike were senior Al Aqsa field operatives, Some of the dead and wounded
were pulling away in a car belongs to the Preventive Security System from
the targeted building when another rocket struck, leaving the vehicle an
unrecognisable heap of charred and twisted metal.

The hospital said four of the wounded were security personnel guarding
Preventive Security headquarter near the Al Aqsa facility.

The Israeli military contended the strike was meant to deter rocket attacks
on Israel from the Gaza Strip, such as one that wounded an Israeli baby and
two adults in a kibbutz in southern Israel on Friday.

Israeli sources alleged the targeted facility in the first air strike served
as a training camp for Al Aqsa operatives, and as a rocket- and
mortar-launching site.

Palestinian sources denied the Israeli claims and asserted that the facility
known by "Shams" was an Al Aqsa sport club and sport training camp
