Qassam rocket lands in Kibbutz Nahal Oz

A Qassam rocket launched from the Gaza Strip landed in Kibbutz Nahal Oz in
the south of Israel. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Throughout the day, Palestinians fired another 16 Qassam rockets at Israel.

IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dan Halutz said that the Israel
Defense Forces would continue to fire at Qassam launchers in spite the death
of seven Palestinian citizens in the Gaza town of Beit Lahiya on Friday.

"We will continue to hit the Qassam manufacturers and launchers. We will
continue to exert every effort in a bid not to hurt civilians, but we won't
stand aloof while the Qassam cells fire at us," Halutz said during a special
press conference following the incident.
